The state of Arizona is blessed with some of the most recognizable natural landmarks in North America. This scenic beauty has captured the imagination of artists worldwide since long before 1912, beginning with Thomas Moran and the Grand Canyon painters of the late 19th Century and continuing today. The Arizona Centennial Landmark Art Collection(ACLAC) is a collaboration by the owners of several private collections in the Southwest. The collection showcases representational paintings of the state’s natural wonders and vistas, created over the last one hundred years by scores of different artists from varying backgrounds, schools and eras.
ACLAC’s mission is to educate the public about Arizona’s artistic heritage and promote the state’s natural scenic beauty. This is accomplished via exhibitions and publications focusing on the various artists who found inspiration in the Grand Canyon state’s diverse, captivating landscapes.
ACLAC is a 501-c3 Corporation registered in the State of Arizona. |
